ABOUT BONNERT ACOUSTICS
Tom Bonnert | Director | BEng(hons) MIOA
Company Director Tom Bonnert established Bonnert Acoustics following over ten years’ experience in the acoustic consultancy industry, having worked for two leading consultancies across Manchester, Birmingham and London.
Tom has extensive experience working directly with developers, architects and contractors on projects of varying scale and complexity. As a senior technical lead, he has delivered building-acoustic projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, education and hospitality, alongside planning noise and vibration assessments. This experience gives insight into solutions that are effective, buildable and proportionate, together with a clear understanding of the information project teams need.
Tom is a Corporate Member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA), holds a degree in Acoustic Engineering, was a contributing author to the acoustics section of the British Council for Offices Guide to Fit-Out 2025, and has acted as an Expert Witness on cases relating to noise nuisance, licensing appeals, and acoustic construction defects.
